Instructions for the Application of Xtendtressä Hair:

Step 1:       Clarify Hair using Xtendtressä Clarifying Shampoo.

Step 2:       Make sure Hair is dry and clean. Do not add styling products. 

Step 3:        Begin at the base of the client’s head and part client’s hair but make sure to leave free space for wearing styles in ponytails.  Always leave free space around the client’s entire head.  Just below the part line, cut hair into 2 even 1.5 to 2 inch strips, remove white tape and place one strip just below the part line. Hair should not be placed onto client’s scalp.  The extensions should be flexible when you move them up and down. Hair is to be attached using the brick layered method.

Step 4:        Take a rattail comb and up-sweep the strip and secure with a hair clip. Smooth down hair on strip with rattail comb and remove any bulky hairs that are not sticking on strip.

Step 5:        Take the second strip, remove tape and place it directly and evenly onto the sticky side of strip number 1. Press each strip firmly together. Continue throughout the entire head.

Step 6:        Cut and Style hair, apply leave in conditioner.

*For additional security:

                   Use Xtendtressä cold process liquid adhesive onto strip one before securing strip 2. Highly Recommended

TO REMOVE:

Step 1         Use Xtendtressä Liquid Adhesive Remover. Spray lightly onto the extensions and hair will begin to loosen.

Step 2         Wash and clarify hair with Xtendtressä Clarifying Shampoo.
